At Responsible Training, our story is one of dedication, innovation, and a relentless pursuit of excellence in education. Founded in 1999 by Jeanene Crawford in Austin, Texas, our journey began with a passion for education and a vision to revolutionize training in the hospitality industry.

Over the years, we've evolved into a leading online training provider, expanding our reach and impact while staying true to our core values and commitment to empowering individuals through accessible and high-quality education.

Our adventure started in a local bar and grill, where Jeanene's enthusiasm for education was ignited during an in-person alcohol seller server class in Austin Texas in 1999. Her commitment and expertise soon led her to start to host her own in person sessions on a regular basis around the State of Texas. Seeing the potential and efficiency, she ventured into online education, pioneering one of the first online Alcohol Seller and Food Handler courses.

Now, let's talk about where we are now— In 2015, the reins of management were assumed by Jeanene's sons, Andrew and Robbie. Their collaborative efforts propelled the company's expansion on a national scale, broadening both the course catalog and geographic reach. Andrew and Robbie plus their dynamic team not only introduced new courses but also ventured into untapped states, igniting a turbocharged phase of growth and innovation for our organization.

In 2012, our food handler course received ANSI Certificate Accreditation, marking the beginning of our expansion beyond Texas.

During this pivotal period, our CEO, Andrew, took the helm, Robbie became the Sales Director, and Jeanene began planning her well-deserved retirement. The transition between Jeanene and her sons was completed in 2015.

In 2019, Responsible Training embarked on the development of our online Food Manager program. By 2022, we were awarded the prestigious ANAB-CFP Accreditation.
