How do I get Started?

When you start your course, you will need to select the language from the dropdown menu at the top of the page.

How Does This Course Work?

You can complete this course at your own pace. There are no page timers and you may skip forward or back to study the material in whatever order you desire. After each chapter there is a quiz to help ensure you have learned the necessary information.

At the beginning of the course you are asked to answer 10 security questions. During the course, you will occasionally be asked to provide the answers you saved to these questions. If you answer incorrectly, you will be locked out of the course and need to call support and request the course be unlocked.

When you feel you are ready, you may take the exam. The Texas TABC exam has no proctor, so you can take it on your computer, tablet, or smart phone.

How Long Does it Take to Complete?

Most users complete the course two hours.

Is there an exam?

Yes—25 questions. The minimum passing score is 70%. You have two opportunities to pass the exam. After that, you must contact support to reset exam.

When Do I Get my Certificate?

Immediately after passing. It’s available to print or download instantly.

For How Long is the TExas TABC Certificate Valid?

The Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission has set the validity of a TABC certificate at 2 years. It will be printed on your certification and may be checked by using our online verification program.
